  1. I love Youtube for hair tutorials. I use it frequently to search for cute protective styles for my daughter and new ways to style my locs. I will definitely check out this vlogger.

  2. I have been sleeping on youtube ever since periscope came on the scene. I was complaining about not being able to edit on periscope but I think I love the live interaction on there. It’s nice! Now you have convinced me to go back to youtube.

  3. Hi there everybody, here every person is sharing these kinds of familiarity, thus it’s pleasant to read this
weblog, and I used to pay a quick visit this blog every day.

  4. These are definitely great vloggers and it’s a shame that race plays a role in the number of subscribers they get in this day and age. We as black women have to support each other even when no one else will, so I’l definitely be subscribing.

  5. YouTube is a hard field to tackle. Even popular YouTubers says that race def plays a factor. It is pretty r I sent though when you watch certain ones too.

  6. Race seems to play out in every aspect of our life. Its both sad and frustrating that we constantly have to deal with this. I subscribe to YouTube University, I go there and I learn how to do all kinds of things. Its one of the greatest things on the internet.

  7. I’d have to add Whitney (Natural85) to the list. Maybe in place of Kerry since Kerry has been MIA (I miss her videos though!) I think Kim will be the first to hit 1 M and that will really be cool.

  8. I know youtube is a great source for new ideas for beauty (hair, makeup, etc) but I rarely use it! Thanks for noting some great youtubers for me to look into.

  9. What a sad truth. It can be difficult running a rat race when the race is fixed. However, that’s why it’s so important that we as black women/men support each other to help us gain better odds!!

  10. I am not a big YouTuber but it does amaze me how hard it is for people of color to get numbers. Shame because they have a lot to offer.

  11. You are so right about black women having to work 10x harder to get half of the recognition! It is a shame, but I’m so grateful that we as black women support one another! These vloggers seem great, and I will be subscribing and following along with them! Thanks for sharing!
